Product Description:
The ZET Kayaks Chili is a modern, fast and playful whitewater kayak inspired by the slalom. Its nimble hull and long rocker make it ideal for steering around rocks and over rollers without shaking the boat. At the same time, with a flat back and wide kayak seat, it offers great maneuverability and fast turning.
With a displacement of just 233 litres, Chili is one of the smallest boats in its category, making it a versatile river runner for all situations. The kayak is 274cm long, 63cm wide and weighs just 18.5kg, meaning it is easy to handle and transport.
The ZET Chili is equipped with the typical ZET Kayaks seat, which is built on a solid reinforced frame to distribute the load evenly across the housing even in the case of stronger impacts. The soft foam rubber of the seat shell is closed-pore and will not waterproof even when in contact with water. With minimal screws through the cover, the inside stays permanently dry.

GUIDE FOR RECEIVING YOUR KAYAK / CANOE
Dear Customer, Your kayak / canoe is on its way! Below you will find a clear and concise guide for a smooth handover. Careful adherence to these steps is crucial for protecting your investment.
Important Notice:
Perform the initial inspection of the packaging and kayak in the presence of the carrier who delivered the kayak. Cooperate with the carrier during the inspection to document any damage immediately.

⚠️ CAUTION: Damage may be subtle (scratches, minor dents, cracks).
STEP 1: INSPECTION BEFORE ACCEPTANCE AND SIGNATURE
Item: Shipment Packaging
In the presence of the carrier, perform a visual inspection for damage to the kayak's packaging. What to check:
- Scratches and Gouges: Look for scratches or gouges on the packaging.
- Holes and Tears: Check if the film or cardboard is torn.
- Deformations: Note any dents on the bow, stern, or sides.
- Visible Kayak Damage: Check if any damage to the kayak is visible through the packaging.
Important: Even with the slightest damage to the packaging, it is necessary to note in the acceptance protocol “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION”!!!
This step is absolutely critical for any potential claim. Also, photograph the damage in the presence of the carrier.
You have the full right to a thorough inspection, even if the carrier is in a hurry.
STEP 2: DECISION BASED ON THE CONDITION OF THE SHIPMENT
Scenario A: No Apparent Damage
Sign for standard acceptance. Be careful when handling the package.
After the carrier leaves:
- Carefully unpack the kayak in a safe location.
- Thoroughly inspect the entire kayak: surface scratches, cracks or fractures, hull deformations, condition of all components.
If you find hidden damage:
- Take photographs (kayak from all angles, detailed shots of the damage).
- Keep all packaging for the claim.
- Contact us within 2–3 days of delivery.
Scenario B: Shows Damage
- Inform the carrier about the damage.
- Prepare a “Damage Report” with a precise description.
- Write in the protocol: “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION” (e.g., “scratches on the packaging”).
- Take photographs (details of the damage, the entire shipment, the label).
- Contact us as soon as possible.
- Alternative: For extensive damage, you may refuse the shipment.
After the carrier leaves:
- Unpack the kayak and check for additional hidden defects.
- Photograph any additional findings.

Receipt and Claims
- Upon receiving the shipment, check the packaging. Report any obvious damage to the packaging immediately and note it in the transport protocol.
- A note can be added even with damaged packaging – any content defects can be claimed later. Please document the damage.
- Check the shipment contents after the driver leaves. Report hidden defects within 4 business days of receipt. Report obvious defects immediately and document them.
