It protects the torso and legs from getting cold when in contact with water, while the sleeveless design leaves the shoulders free for natural movement while paddling, swimming, and playing in the water.

The wetsuit is designed with children's rapid growth in mind. Adjustable shoulder cuffs allow you to adjust the length of the wetsuit so that it fits better next season and doesn't become too small for the child too soon.

Expert Advice

Adjust the extendable shoulder cuffs so that the wetsuit fits snugly against the body, but the child can squat, bend forward, and raise their arms as if paddling without restriction. Don’t leave too much room “to grow into” the suit—the neoprene will then insulate less effectively and may hinder the child’s movement. After use, rinse the suit with fresh water and dry it in the shade so that the neoprene remains flexible and the reinforcements last longer.
