Aquarius Pupil: A Reliable Life Jacket for Your Dog
Safety and comfort for your four-legged friend
The Aquarius Pupil dog life jacket is an indispensable accessory for all owners who take their dogs to the water—whether by canoe, raft, or paddleboard. The vest is filled with lightweight, high-buoyancy foam that actively keeps the dog afloat and significantly aids its swimming. In addition to providing buoyancy, it also serves as an insulating layer that prevents rapid loss of body heat, which you’ll especially appreciate during longer swims in colder water.
Design, Visibility, and Fastening System
The vest's design is tailored to a dog's anatomy, with an emphasis on safety and ease of use:
- Excellent visibility: The bright orange color, combined with prominent reflective elements, ensures that you can reliably see your dog in low light, in the waves, and on an overgrown shore.
- Secure fastening: The vest is secured to the dog's body with three sturdy clips—one on the front (around the neck/chest) and two on the bottom edges under the belly.
- Sturdy handrail: A sturdy handle is built into the back of the vest, allowing you to quickly and easily pull your dog back into the boat or onto shore.
What is this vest ideal for?
The Aquarius Pupil is a versatile vest suitable for a wide range of water activities with your dog:
- Water Tourism and Canoeing: A safe place for your dog to stay on the boat, even if it accidentally jumps into the water.
- Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP): Peace of mind for a dog that shares your float with you and occasionally ends up in the water.
- Swimwear for less experienced swimmers: Support for older dogs, dogs recovering from illness, or breeds that have difficulty swimming.

Expert advice: Before taking your dog into deep water, try the life jacket on him for the first time at home or in calm, shallow water near the shore. Fasten both the front and bottom buckles and check to make sure your dog can breathe freely and move his legs without the straps rubbing against him. Tighten the vest just enough—it shouldn’t slide around loosely on your dog, but it also shouldn’t choke him. Getting your dog used to the vest ahead of time will ensure that every water adventure goes smoothly.
