Caring for a Polyethylene Shell

Although the Rewind Creek is exceptionally durable, we recommend rinsing the kayak with clean water after paddling in sandy or muddy terrain—especially in the cockpit area—to prevent wear on the outfitting and sand from getting lodged in moving parts. Store the kayak in a shaded area away from constant direct UV exposure. Periodically check that the screws on the thigh pads and backrest are tight.
