Gumotex K2 - key features

KayakK2 (390 × 100 cm, 20 kg, 200 kg capacity) is an extremely stable inflatable kayak designed for demanding paddling activities - from training to WW4. With its self-floating bottom, high sturdiness and the possibility of converting to a single-seat configuration, the K2 is the ideal vessel for expedition cruises, paddling courses and trips into more difficult conditions. The wide hull and comfortable seats ensure comfortable and safe seating even in rougher waters.

Hull, stability and handling

The robust hull of the K2 kayak is made of double-sided weighted materialNITRILON®which provides excellent resistance to punctures, abrasion and long-term wear. Thanks to its width of 100 cm, the kayak is extremely stable, ideal even for less experienced riders. The self-bailing bottom allows for efficient water drainage during rapids and ensures dry seating even when the kayak is heavily flooded.

Materials used

NITRILON® (double-sided) is an extremely durable, high strength, three-layer composite material developed in-house by Gumotex. It uses a combination of PES fabric, synthetic rubber and natural rubber blend. The double-sided coating makes the kayak extremely resistant to mechanical damage, UV rays and chemicals. The material is eco-friendly, repairable and ideal for the harshest conditions.
