Gumotex Rush 2 - key features
Rush 2 (420 × 82 cm, 15.5 kg, 195 kg capacity) is a hybrid two-seater inflatable kayak that combines high-pressure drop-stitch technology with classic inflatable chambers. This concept allows for maximum rigidity, great stability and excellent glide. Suitable for touring as well as for multi-day paddling expeditions with equipment.
Hull, stability and handling
The bottom of the kayak consists of a completely flat profile with an integrated front keel that improves hydrodynamics and wave penetration. The drop-stitch structure in the bottom and both ends of the boat provides high rigidity and thus better straight lines and superior stability. The vessel responds well in flowing water and can handle rivers up to WW2.

Materials used
NITRILON® is a multi-layer material developed directly by Gumotex. It consists of a high strength PES fabric, an outer layer of synthetic rubber and an inner layer based on natural rubber. It is extremely resistant to UV, abrasion and chemical stress.Drop-stitch technology connects the top and bottom layers with hundreds of thousands of polyester fibers, which allows for pressures up to 0.5 bar and high strength.
