Gumotex Seawave - key features
Seawave (455 × 80 cm, 17.5 kg, 250 kg capacity) is the most versatile Gumotex model for sailing on seashores, lakes and calm rivers. The variable configuration makes it easy to customize the number of seats - from a solo expedition to a family expedition. With an extended hull, floor reinforcements and excellent tracking, this is one of the fastest and best handling inflatable kayaks on the market. Compatibility with both 1- and 2-person cockpit covers extends usability into more challenging conditions.
Hull, stability and handling
The hull of the Seawave kayak uses a narrow hydrodynamic shape with a protruding keel and the possibility of installing a directional fin. This design provides excellent glide, fast stroke and great directional stability even in crosswinds. Additional reinforcements in the floor increase the torsional rigidity of the hull and contribute to easy handling in open water. Combined with the optional cockpit and quality skeg, the boat handles even the toughest sea conditions well.

Materials used
NITRILON® - three-layer material of Gumotex's own production. It consists of an outer layer of synthetic rubber (abrasion resistant), a reinforcing polyester fabric and a PVC-based inner layer. It offers high resistance to UV, salt water, tears and chemicals. Thanks to its high pressure capability (up to 0.25 bar), NITRILON® achieves excellent stiffness and is also easily repairable in the field. The material of choice guarantees a long service life and ecological safety without the use of phthalates.
