Gumotex Solar - key features

Solar (410 × 80 cm, 16 kg, 270 kg capacity) is a versatile inflatable kayak designed for relaxed recreation and light touring. Thanks to its variable seat arrangement, it is ideal for singles, couples and families with children. It comes with two seats as standard, a third can be purchased. The kayak offers an excellent balance between stability, storage and comfort, on lakes, rivers up to WW2 and in sea coves with the optional additional front deck. All Gumotex boats are covered by5 years warranty after registration.

Hull, stability and handling

The Solar has a stable hull with a flat bottom and sufficient width for a safe ride even under heavier loads. The directional fin with attachment on the bottom of the hull improves directional hold, which you will appreciate during longer crossings on lakes or in moderate currents. The kayak's light weight makes it easy to carry and store, while providing plenty of room for gear and comfortable seating.

Materials used

NITRILON® is a three-layer material consisting of an outer layer of synthetic rubber, a reinforcing polyester fabric and an inner PVC. It offers high resistance to UV, abrasion and chemicals. It is environmentally friendly, phthalate-free and easy to repair. Gumotex kayaks made from this material are long-lasting even with regular use in harsh environments.
