GUMOTEX SEASHINE - a new era of sea kayaks

Seashine is the direct successor to the legendary Seawave, but pushes its boundaries much further. Thanks to the use of high-pressure Drop-stitch material not only in the bottom, but completely throughout the hull, the kayak has gained unprecedented rigidity. Hydrodynamic drag is minimal, and the boat reaches speeds previously reserved only for rigid boats.

Seashine is designed for paddlers who want to cover long distances:

• The seashore: The stiff hull cuts through waves and keeps the course even in the wind.
• Great Lakes: The speed of the boat allows easy lake crossings with minimal effort.
• Wandering 2+1: The carrying capacity of 250 kg allows two adults with a child and luggage to sail for a weekend.

Full Drop-stitch technology

Thanks to the thousands of fibres that connect the walls of the chambers, Seashine can be inflated to high pressure (0.5 bar bottom, 0.25 bar sides). The result is a boat that doesn't buckle in rapids or waves. The distinctive keel shape ensures that the Seashine follows the track smoothly.

Ergonomics and interior space

The Seashine offers superior legroom and comfortable reclining seats. The boat can be retrofitted with a rudder and cockpit, giving you a full-size sea-kayak capable of sailing even in challenging conditions.

Nitrilon® in combination with high pressure

MaterialNITRILON® in combination with the Drop-stitch core to form a virtually indestructible construction. It is UV stable, resistant to salt water and mechanical damage.

Easy transport despite extreme length

The 470 cm length packs into a compact 100 l transport bag when blown. At 18 kg, it is an incredibly light machine for its power.
