Gumotex Pálava defined the category of modern inflatable canoes. Unlike more robust models, it relies on a narrower profile and longer waterline, making it one of the fastest boats in its class:
- Tourist descents and gently flowing rivers: Thanks to its shape, the boat holds the direction perfectly and does not require so much effort when paddling. It is ideal for weekend wanderings in nature.
- Lighter wild water (WW II): Pálava handles waves and rapids of medium difficulty with ease. The raised bow (rocker) ensures that the boat does not get stuck in the waves.

Expert advice: To know the correct paddle length, place the paddle on the tip in front of you - the handle should reach between your chin and nose. For inflatable boats such as the Pálava, we recommend a paddle about 5 cm longer than for a rigid canoe (e.g. for a 180 cm figure, a paddle of 155-160 cm is ideal).
