Gumotex Ruby XL is an upgraded version of the popular recreational canoe with a significantly increased width that takes stability and space to a whole new level. Its robust construction, motor mountability and versatility make it an ideal choice for anglers, families and recreational paddlers. MaterialNITRILON® provides excellent resistance to mechanical damage, UV radiation and salt water. It is a three-layer laminate material composed of an outer layer of synthetic rubber, an inner fabric reinforcement and a PVC core, which allows for high operating pressure and long service life. For exposed parts such as the motor mirror, it can also be usedCR foils (chloroprene rubber), which increases mechanical and chemical resistance. These features make Ruby XL one of the most versatile models in the Gumotex range.

Hull, stability and handling

The hull of the Ruby XL has an exceptional width of 125 cm, providing excellent primary stability. It is ideal for recreational sailing with children, standing up while fishing or transporting large amounts of gear. The pronounced rise in the bow and stern helps to resist splashing water and allows use even in moderate waves. The stern mirror is designed to accommodate a motor of up to 5 hp (3.7 kW), making the Ruby XL also an efficient means of transport for longer distances or offshore marine cruising. Thanks to the bottom profile, the boat maintains its direction and has very good handling in calm water and wind.
