GUMOTEX RUSH 1 - sport kayak for 1 person
Rush 1 pushes the boundaries of what is possible with an inflatable kayak. Thanks to the use of high-pressure Drop-stitch material in the bottom and side rollers, the boat has gained unprecedented rigidity. The result is a kayak that responds instantly to the stroke, holds the line superbly and allows for a smooth ride even in the most challenging conditions.
Sport paddling on lakes and wild water
With its unique shape and rigidity, Rush 1 is at home in a variety of environments:
- Lakes and seashores: The narrow and long profile minimizes water resistance. The boat is very fast and stable in a straight line.
- Wild Water (until WW2): The rigidity of the hull ensures that the boat does not twist in the rapids and smoothly crosses the waves.
- Playfulness and manoeuvrability: The short length of 355 cm allows lightning turns, which you will appreciate during technical paddling.
Revolutionary construction with Drop-stitch technology
Rush 1 uses a design where the side rollers and bottom are connected by a thousand fibre technology. This allows the entire boat to be inflated to high pressure (0.25 bar cylinder / 0.5 bar bottom). The pronounced bow easily cuts through waves and the hydrodynamic hull shape reduces friction, increasing cruising speed.
Compact dimensions for solo riders
With load capacity150 kg rush 1 offers plenty of capacity for paddlers and expedition gear. The comfortable PE foam seat is adjustable, allowing you to find the ideal position for maximum efficiency of your stroke.
Durable NITRILON® and Drop-stitch material
MaterialNITRILON® combined with Drop-stitch technology creates a surface that is almost immune to normal mechanical damage. The boat is UV stable and very easy to keep clean. It is not ordinary PVC, but a high-strength PES fabric with a synthetic and natural rubber coating.
