GUMOTEX SOLAR - inflatable kayak 1-3 persons
Kayak Solar is synonymous with relaxed family hiking. Its wide bottom and bulky side rollers provide exceptional primary stability, which makes even complete beginners or families with small children feel safe in the boat. It's a boat that will take you anywhere - from a calm dam to a flowing river. The Nitrilon® material makes it a boat with a lifetime measured in decades.
Ideal boat for lakes and tourist descents
The Solar is designed for maximum versatility in recreational paddling:
- Tourist rivers (until WW2): The boat is manoeuvrable enough and thanks to the durable material you don't have to worry about contact with the bottom in shallow waters.
- Lakes and seashores: For better directional control, the Solar is equipped with a fin handle to stabilize the boat in crosswinds.
- Expedition for two: In the two-adult configuration, the Solar offers a huge amount of luggage space, ideal for multi-day "heavy" travel.
Designed for maximum stability and safety
Solar's design relies on a proven three-chamber system. The symmetrical shape and slightly raised bow and stern ensure that the boat glides well on the water and does not get stuck in small waves. The low position of the seats contributes to the great stability of the whole vessel, minimizing the risk of capsizing and giving paddlers the necessary confidence.
Variation for 1, 2 or 3 persons
Solar is the "chameleon" of kayaks. Thanks to the sliding seats and a large number of handles, you can convert it in no time:
- Solo kayak: One seat positioned in the middle for an ideal centre of gravity and royal space for your belongings.
- Tandem: Classic version for two adult paddlers with plenty of legroom.
- Family version: Add a third seat (optional accessory) to create a boat for two adults and one child.
Durable and environmentally friendly NITRILON® material
The kayak is made of legendary materialNITRILON®. This natural rubber-based material is extremely abrasion resistant, does not crack in the sun (high UV stability) and, unlike cheap PVC boats, does not melt in cold water. Nitrilon is also very easy to wash, dries quickly and is easily repairable in case of damage even in field conditions.
Assembly and transport in a backpack
The Solar weighs 16 kg and easily packs into an 80 litre waterproof bag when blown. Assembly on shore is a matter of 5-8 minutes. Simply unpack, insert the seats and inflate the three main chambers to an operating pressure of 0.2 bar using a powerful pump.
Extended 5-year warranty and service
The manufacturer provides for all newly purchased boatsfree extended 5-year warranty to the boat itself (after online registration). The warranty covers all manufacturing defects, seam and valve defects. In addition, you getfree repair (service) within the EU and the Czech Republicwhich will give you complete peace of mind on your holiday.
