    GUMOTEX THAYA - inflatable kayak 1-3 persons

    Kayak Thaya brought a small revolution to the world of inflatable boats. Thanks to a solid bottom made with Drop-stitch technology, the boat behaves almost like a solid plastic kayak. It is extremely stable, does not twist under the weight of the crew and allows for very efficient paddling without wasting energy.

    Ideal boat for lakes and calm rivers

    Thanks to its unique design, Thaya is perfectly suited for recreational paddling and longer trips:

    • Lakes and dams: The solid bottom ensures that the boat keeps its course and resists the wind.
    • Gently flowing rivers (until WW2): The Thaya is safe and forgiving of driving errors, making it ideal for families.
    • Family cruise: The boat can be equipped with up to three seats, so it can easily carry two adults and one child.

    Drop-stitch technology and stability

    The key to the Thaya's success is the bottom made of thousands of polyester fibres that connect the top and bottom layers of the material. This allows the bottom to inflate to a much higher pressure than in conventional boats:

    1. High rigidity: The bottom does not sag, which improves the hydrodynamic properties of the boat.
    2. Low centre of gravity: The solid bottom surface allows paddlers to sit stably and feel safe.
    3. Resilience: The bottom is very tough and resistant to mechanical damage.

    Variability of seats and interior space

    Thaya offers generous space. The seats can be placed in several positions, allowing the boat to be used as a single, double or triple seater. The inflatable seats with backrests provide superior comfort even during a trip of several hours.

    NITRILON® material in combination with Drop-stitch

    Side rollers are made of proven materialNITRILON®which is highly resistant to abrasion, UV radiation and aging. The bottom uses Drop-stitch technology with a Nitrilon coating, creating an extremely strong and durable combination.

    Easy assembly and transport

    Despite its rigidity, Thaya is easy to pack. The entire kayak weighs 17.5 kg and fits into a transport bag when packed. Assembly is a snap - using the included Scoprega SUPER-F pump, you can inflate the bottom and cylinders in minutes.

    Extended 5-year warranty and service

    The manufacturer provides to all boatsfree extended 5-year warranty to the boat itself (after online registration). The warranty covers all manufacturing defects, seam and valve defects. In addition, as part of our set you getfree repair (service) within the EU and the Czech Republic.
