HIKO Cinch Harness

HIKO Cinch Harness: An advanced whitewater vest with a removable harness system

Hiko Cinch Harness: Designed for Whitewater

The Cinch Harness from the trusted Czech manufacturer Hiko is a full-featured life jacket that meets the strict European standard ISO 12402-5. It is designed to provide a wide range of motion while paddling, performing Eskimo rolls, and swimming in strong currents. Its well-thought-out design combines the safety requirements for swiftwater rescue with a high level of comfort that you’ll appreciate during an all-day trip in the boat.

Ergonomics and Fit: Short Cut and Front Zipper

The vest's design is optimized for maximum freedom of movement for the torso and ease of use:

• Low profile and short cut: Thanks to its shorter length and thinner profile at the front, the vest doesn't get in the way of the spraydeck, doesn't press against you when you're sitting in the kayak, and doesn't restrict deep breathing.
• Front zipper closure: It allows you to put on or take off the vest as quickly, comfortably, and easily as you would a regular jacket.
• Padded shoulders: The wide shoulder straps are lined with soft neoprene and feature a comfortable adjustment system.
• Side compression: Two side straps on each side allow you to "lock" the vest securely against your body so it won't slip in whitewater.

Rescue Equipment: Removable harness and pocket for the throw bag

Like any good whitewater vest, the Cinch Harness features top-of-the-line safety details:

• Removable Harness System: The integrated rescue strap with a quick-release buckle can be easily removed from the vest or reattached at any time as needed (you'll appreciate this when switching to more leisurely hiking).
• Storage Space and Indicators: Two large front zippered pockets can hold small items and essentials. The vest also comes standard with reflective elements for better visibility and a safety whistle.

What is this vest ideal for?

Thanks to its versatility and safety features, the vest is suitable for:

• Whitewater and creeking: Integrated harness, excellent mobility, and a secure fit for challenging rapids.
• Kayaking: A short cut won't get in the way while kayaking or during advanced maneuvers.
