Hiko X-treme Raft: A top-of-the-line high-buoyancy life jacket for commercial rafting and whitewater
High lift for demanding commercial applications
The Hiko X-treme Raft is designed to withstand the most demanding conditions in whitewater and commercial rafting without compromise. Thanks to its above-average amount of buoyancy foam, it provides buoyancy that meets the requirements of the standard for Category 100N life jackets (Sizes L/XL and XXL provide a full 100 N of buoyancy), making it a safe piece of equipment comparable to life jackets even in the wildest rapids.
Sturdy 3-buckle closure and adjustable straps
The vest's design emphasizes maximum tensile strength, safety, and ease of use:
- Three high-strength buckles: They ensure that the life jacket fastens instantly, securely, and safely, withstanding strong water pressure if you find yourself swimming in a current.
- Adjustable circuits and arms: They allow for very precise and flexible adjustment of the vest to different body types, which you'll especially appreciate at rental shops and when serving different customers.
- Durable materials: The combination of proven, high-strength materials—Corex, Dupratex, and Oxford—ensures exceptional durability against abrasion and stress.
Safety features: Collar, whistle, and reflective details
The X-treme Raft is fully equipped to handle emergencies on the water:
- Integrated rescue collar: It provides reliable support for the head in the water while floating on your back and helps keep the airway above the surface.
- Emergency whistle: A built-in whistle for calling for help immediately.
- Reflective elements: They ensure excellent visibility for the rider in low-visibility conditions, at dusk, or in turbulent white water.
What is this vest ideal for?
Due to its sturdiness and high buoyancy, the life jacket is designed for:
- Commercial rafting: The absolute best choice for rafting companies and guides who demand the highest level of safety for their clients.
- Extreme whitewater: Reliable protection and a huge reserve of buoyancy in challenging rapids.
- Water Sports Schools and Rental Shops: Extreme mechanical durability and a long service life in everyday use.

Expert advice: For commercial and rafting life jackets with high buoyancy (100N), it is essential to thoroughly tighten all three high-strength buckles, as well as the side and shoulder straps, after putting on the jacket so that it fits snugly around the torso. This ensures that the rescue collar functions properly and that the vest does not ride up in the event of a fall into rapids. After each use in murky or saltwater, we recommend rinsing the vest with clean water.
