The hull shape of the Voro model is a masterpiece for beginners and recreational paddlers. The kayak features a more pronounced bow shape and a slightly rounded bottom that transitions into a distinct keel line. What does that mean in practice?

• Tracking and Skeg: The keel line itself helps keep the boat on a straight course. However, the Voro M version is also equipped with a drop-down skeg. As soon as a crosswind blows or you’re crossing a large reservoir, you lower the skeg, and the kayak stays on course as if it were on rails.

Caring for a Polyethylene Shell

The kayak is made of high-quality polyethylene, which is tough and highly resistant to abrasion in shallow waters. To extend the life of the plastic and prevent the colors from fading, we recommend storing the kayak in the shade and not leaving it exposed to direct sunlight for months on end. After paddling in sandy conditions, be sure to rinse the skeg housing with water to prevent the cable from seizing up. Treat the rubber hatch cover of the rear compartment with silicone spray from time to time.
