The Antix 3.0 thus features a more voluminous bow that lifts you high over obstacles. The midsection and stern have also been redesigned, making stern dive more intuitive and surfing much smoother.

Hull and Hydrodynamics: Double Rails and Massive Rocker

Antix 3.0 brings radical changes to the hull in the half-slice category:

• Massive Bow Rocker and Increased Displacement: The bow of the boat now has even more rocker and greater volume. As a result, the ride through the waves is much drier; the boat literally flies over the waves and keeps its bow above the water at all times.
• Double Rails: Antix borrowed this technology directly from the purebred playboat, the Rockstar V. The double edges on the wider, flat bottom give the boat an incredibly free, “skateboard-like” feel when surfing. The boat rotates on the wave with unprecedented ease, but as soon as you lean it over, the edge bites in aggressively and precisely guides the carving turn.
• Ultra Slicey Tail (Flat Tail): Despite the increase in lift at the bow and around the sides, the very tip of the stern (tail) has been thinned out and its rocker reduced. Dipping the stern for stern squirts, splats, or pirouettes is now easier and more playful than ever, while the reduced rocker adds speed to the boat during straight-line paddling.
