LLDPE material: impact and UV resistance

Like the other models in this series, the River 4 is made from linear polyethylene (LLDPE) using rotational moulding technology. This process produces a monolithic, seamless hull with high structural integrity. The material is highly tough, which means that it will not crack on contact with a rock or rough handling on the shore, but only slightly spring back. An integrated UV filter protects the boat from embrittlement and colour fading, even when exposed to sunlight for long periods of time.

Comfortable wooden seats with weave

A distinctive feature of the River 4 is the four wooden seats with fabric belts. Compared to all-plastic seats, this solution offers several advantages: they are breathable, softer for longer paddling and give the boat a traditional "Canadian" look. The wooden frames of the seats are treated against moisture and the fabric straps are non-absorbent, which makes maintenance easier and increases crew comfort even after getting wet.
