Kokopelli Rodeo - key features

Rodeo builds on the legendary 2017 prototype and pushes the boundaries of what packraft can do. NewAdvanced Whitewater Design (AWD) combines 5-panel construction with a longer waterline for higher speed, aggressiverocker profile (AWRP) in the bow for some "boofing" and a stable stern for better exit from the rollers. The result is a boat that handles like a classic kayak but weighs only 5.7 kg.

Hull, stability and handling

The hybrid bottom with vertical I-Beam chambers ensures a smooth transition from primary to secondary stability. This allows aggressive carving of waves and wake entries. 17 venturi drain holes quickly drain water and protect the pontoons from sucking in debris. In addition, the reinforced stern area provides more buoyancy and better response during jumps and exits.

Materials and durability

Kokopelli uses high-end materials with Kevlar® aramid fibres:

• Sidewalls210D TPU + Kevlar™ aramid-nylon for puncture and abrasion resistance
• Bottom: 840D Kevlar™ TPU - maximum protection against stones and wear
• Reinforcements: steel D-rings (16 pcs) - for thigh straps and equipment

Total weight is just 12.6 lbs (5.7 kg), making the Rodeo the lightest packraft in its class, capable of standing up to Class IV+ whitewater.

Comfort and equipment

• New EVA Pro Backband (2025) - greater comfort and easier adjustment thanks to new buckles
• Self-leveling bottom - fast water drainage even in rapids
• Compatibility with thigh straps - maximum control over the boat
• Leafield D7 valves - reliable and easy to service

Included in the package is a pump bag, hose, compression straps, inflatable seat and floor, EVA backband, repair kit and lube for TiZip.

What is it suitable for?

Kokopelli Rodeo is ideal for:
