The key element of this paddle is the ergonomic crank shaft. When seakayaking, you do thousands of strokes a day, and this is where ergonomics come into play the most:

• Natural wrist position: The rod keeps the arm at an angle that does not strain tendons and ligaments, which prevents inflammation and chronic pain.

Paddle care in harsh salty environments

Salt water is challenging for any mechanism. Salt crystallization inside the clutch could lead to plugging. Do not store the paddle in direct sunlight in the car to prevent thermal degradation of the carbon resins.
