The NoName ROCK model strikes the perfect balance between basic touring models and extreme spraydecks designed for heavy whitewater. Thanks to an added latex coating, it ensures that the spray deck stays securely attached to the boat’s collar and keeps water out even when navigating smaller waves and rapids, all while remaining very affordably priced.
4mm neoprene, latex coating, and a simple hood
The design combines high-quality neoprene with practical features to enhance waterproofing:
- 4mm laminated neoprene: The 4-mm-thick, double-sided laminated neoprene provides excellent thermal comfort, structural strength to the deck, and prevents rapid wear and tear of the material.
- Latex coating on the underside: A special layer of latex applied to the inner edge of the spray skirt dramatically increases friction and grip against the cockpit. As a result, the skirt seals much better and doesn't slide down off the collar.
- Simple Chimney (JK): A sleek, flexible neoprene hood that comfortably fits around the torso, preventing cold air from reaching your back and allowing you full range of motion while paddling.

Expert Advice and Product Care: Thanks to the latex coating, the spraydeck fits the boat perfectly, but putting it on over a dry collar can be a bit tricky. Especially with a new spraydeck, we recommend lightly wetting the deck edge and the boat’s collar with water before putting it on—this makes the material more slippery, and putting it on will be much easier. To ensure the neoprene lasts a long time and to prevent the latex layer from cracking, dry the spray deck by hanging it loosely in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Never dry it in direct sunlight or place it on hot radiators.
