Durability and Innovative Materials

The packraft is made of highly durable, PVC-free nylon with an inner and outer TPU coating. This design significantly improves air retention in the event of abrasion and makes repairs easier, thereby extending the boat’s lifespan. The overlapping high-frequency welded seams are additionally sealed with internal tape, creating an incredibly strong mechanical bond. The TPU-coated seat is highly packable and much less prone to overinflation in hot weather or in direct sunlight.

• Thigh supports: The Vertex Pro three-point thigh supports provide the paddler with superior comfort and absolute control over the boat in challenging rapids.
• Backrest and Rescue: The Vertex Pro backrest features a cleverly integrated throw line (throw bag) that doesn’t get in the way while paddling. In addition, the quick-release strap allows you to adjust the backrest so you can carry the throw line directly on your body while scouting rapids from the shore or carrying the boat.

• Self-leveling bottom: It continuously drains water from the boat, which significantly improves maneuverability in waves.
• Storage space: The waterproof TIZIP zipper at the stern of the boat creates an easily accessible and completely dry storage space inside the tubes. The zipper also speeds up the process of deflating the boat.
• Aluminum accessories: Specially designed aluminum components and anti-rotation D-rings provide secure attachment points for thigh straps and essential gear on the water.
• Leafield D7M Valves: They reduce the size and weight of the packed boat, ensure reliable inflation, and are very easy to maintain.

(Note: During prolonged exposure to the sun, release some air to prevent damage to the seams caused by overinflation. For optimal performance, we recommend using a high-quality hand pump to inflate the boat.)
