NRS Ninja OS

NRS Ninja OS: A top-of-the-line low-profile vest for sea kayaking and expedition paddling

NRS Ninja OS: Performance and Mobility for Sea Kayakers

The NRS Ninja OS model is based on the popular and proven Ninja cut, which it expands with specific features required for long-distance ocean and expedition paddling. By concentrating buoyancy in a slimmer area, it delivers unmatched mobility without compromising safety or gear organization—a feature you’ll appreciate during the hours you spend in your sea kayak.

Orbit Fit System™ and eco-friendly, PVC-free materials

Vesta focuses on cutting-edge technology and environmental friendliness:

• Orbit Fit System™: An innovative layering of lightweight, closed-cell foam creates a pre-curved shape that conforms to the body, increases range of motion, and eliminates the need for excessive tightening.
• Graded Sizing: It takes into account the optimal level of buoyancy for different body types to ensure a perfect and secure fit.
• Sustainable Construction: Both the outer and inner shells, made of recycled ripstop nylon, protect the inner Ethafoam filling, which is completely free of toxic PVC.
• AirMesh lining: Special ventilation at the lower back improves airflow and helps manage moisture on warm days.

"Shell"-style pocket for VHF/GPS and 5 attachment points

Ninja OS stands out for its sophisticated system for storing rescue and communication equipment:

• Clamshell: A divided zippered pocket with internal Velcro compartments, ideal for safely storing a VHF radio or GPS with an antenna output.
• Mounting points: A total of five attachment points for securing a knife, emergency lights, or a strobe.
• Pocket for warming your hands: With a comfortable, four-way stretch polyester lining that also serves as a quick storage compartment.
• Safety features: Extensive 3M® reflective elements, strap covers to reduce snagging points, and a silicone inner band to prevent the vest from riding up while swimming.

What is this vest ideal for?

Thanks to its specialized features, this vest is the perfect choice for:

• Sea and touring kayaks: Perfect organization of electronics (VHF/GPS) and freedom of movement for the arms during long-distance crossings.
• Expedition paddling: Comfort on multi-day trips, durable eco-friendly materials, and plenty of gear loops.
• Coastal Paddling and SUP: Low profile and maximum mobility.
