The new generation of the legendary NRS Tuff Sacks offers uncompromising protection for your gear. The bag is made of premium, durable material 18 oz TobaTex. This material is not only extremely resistant to abrasion and tearing caused by sharp branches and rocks, but it is also completely PVC-free, which significantly reduces its environmental impact. All seams are securely high-frequency welded, so there is absolutely no chance that even the smallest drop of water will penetrate them.
StormStrip™ Roll-Up Closure and Smart Details
The NRS Tuff Sack is very easy to handle, even with stiff or wet fingers:
- StormStrip™ Closure: A safe and time-tested roll-up closure system. Simply roll the top edge with the strip tightly at least three times and secure it with a sturdy plastic clip. The system guarantees 100% dustproofing and protection against water splashes and even brief submersion.
- Integrated D-ring: There is a sturdy loop (D-ring) right on the clasp. This allows you to easily and securely attach the bag to a boat or kayak deck using a carabiner, or to tie multiple bags together.

Expert Tip – How to Pack Larger Bags: A 35-liter capacity can hold a substantial amount of items, so be sure to distribute the weight properly (place heavy and soft items at the bottom). To ensure guaranteed waterproofing, it’s crucial to squeeze excess air out of the bag before sealing it—this will prevent the buckle from accidentally opening under high pressure (for example, if you accidentally sit on the bag). Then roll up the top StormStrip™ closure strip at least three times, ideally four times Point it downward, and only then clip the carabiner in. If the bag gets dirty with mud, simply rinse it with water and let it dry open in the shade.
