Palm Nylon Collar Cover: Extremely Durable Protection for Your Kayak

Palm Nylon Case: Hassle-Free Storage and Transport

Whether you’re transporting your boat on the roof of your car in heavy rain or storing it for the winter outdoors in your yard or under a shelter, the cockpit cover from the British brand Palm ensures that the interior of the boat remains completely clean and dry. This model relies on raw strength and the uncompromising durability of its materials to withstand even the most demanding outdoor conditions.

Durable 1680D Nylon

The materials used in this cover meet the most stringent standards:

• Extremely durable 1680D nylon: The outer layer is made of heavyweight, coarsely woven ballistic nylon (1680 denier). This material is commonly used in the most durable travel luggage. It offers excellent resistance to tearing, abrasion, and inclement weather.
• Tightly secure the circuit: The edge of the cover is fitted with a thick elastic band that secures the cover firmly beneath the outer edge of the collar so that it can withstand even strong gusts of wind at highway speeds.
• Front handrail: A sturdy strap loop at the tip makes it easy and quick to remove the cover from the boat.

Why It's Worth Using a Collar Cover

This unassuming yet highly functional accessory significantly simplifies the logistics and maintenance of the boat:

• Transport on the roof of a car: Enclosing the cockpit significantly reduces the kayak’s aerodynamic drag. This eliminates the annoying whistling of the wind, saves fuel, and keeps rain from getting into the kayak. In addition, with the cover in place, the kayak can be used as extra storage space for lightweight and bulky gear (such as life jackets).
• Outdoor storage (winter storage): The cover acts as a reliable barrier against insects, spiders, rodents, and accumulated leaves or snow. In the spring, you can simply climb into a clean kayak.
