Palm Quest Kids: A Safe and Stylish Vest for Children and Teens
A Safe Hiking Vest for the Whole Family
The Palm Quest Kids model brings the proven quality of adult touring vests to smaller versions specially designed for children and teens. The foam padding evenly covers the chest and back, ensuring stable buoyancy and support while moving in the water. The vest is available in two size categories—a smaller version for children and a larger version for teens—to precisely match the different body proportions of growing water sports enthusiasts.
Design and Comfort: Front zipper and durable 420D nylon
The vest's ergonomic design emphasizes ease of use and durability:
- Front zipper opening: It allows you to put on or take off the vest very quickly, smoothly, and intuitively, just like a regular jacket.
- Side straps: They ensure that the vest can be fastened securely and quickly to the child's body so that it doesn't slip.
- Durable 420D nylon material: The outer fabric is exceptionally strong and abrasion-resistant, ensuring that the vest can withstand even rough handling on the shore or at rental shops.
Safety Features: Reflective details and a crotch strap
Children's safety comes first, which is reflected in the thoughtful details:
- Strap between the legs: The children's versions are equipped with the essential crotch strap, which reliably prevents the child from slipping out of the vest or the vest from riding up toward the ears after a fall into the water.
- Reflective elements: Strategically placed reflective details on both the front and back of the vest significantly increase a young paddler's visibility at dusk, in fog, or in inclement weather.
What is this vest ideal for?
The Palm Quest Kids is a versatile life jacket suitable for a wide range of family water activities:
- Family Water Tourism: A reliable companion for peaceful river trips in canoes or touring kayaks.
- Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP): The lightweight design does not restrict movement while standing on the board.
- Summer Camping and Water Games: Durable material and comfort for all-day wear by the water.

Expert advice: Properly adjusting the vest is key to your children's safety. After fastening the front zipper on a child's size K XS/S Always remember to fasten and adjust the crotch strap carefully. Next, tighten the side straps so that the life jacket fits snugly around the torso and does not slide up toward the chin when you float in the water. Remember that a life jacket provides buoyancy but does not replace constant adult supervision near the water.
