The Palm RESCUE HYBRID life jacket is the ideal equipment for water rescue. The vest can also be variably supplemented with 2 front and 1 rear pocket, via MOLLE attachment points.

The water rescue vest is equipped with the patented adjustable UCLan safety chest harness. The vest has a front entry design with a SOLAS reflective tape buckle. A safety whistle is also included.

UKCA approved to ISO 12402-5/12402-6 (swift water rescue).

Design and durability

ExternalCORDURA® 500D resist abrasion when working on the shore and in troughs. The filling consists ofGaia PVC-free foam for reliable buoyancy and comfort. ModularMOLLE the interface allows you to "tune" the PFD to the type of intervention (PLB, knife, pulleys, prusiks, first aid kit) and your team's standards. The concept is designed for long term deployment of emergency services (floods, SRT training, safety assurance).

PFD Fit Guide - measuring and fitting

  • Chest: Measure horizontally under the arms around the fullest part of the chest and shoulder blades.
  • Weight: Include any equipment you will be wearing.
  • PFD buoyancy label: Proper seating is more important than choosing a buoyancy category based on weight. All Palm PFDs have buoyancy above the CE/ISO minimum; weight ranges are listed on the ISO label inside the vest.
  1. Enable all straps and buckles.
  2. Dress the vest and securebuckle front entry.
  3. Tighten from the waist to the shoulders; in the working/paddling position, make sure that the vestnot picking up when pulling upwards and that the chest harness is not overstretched.
