Palm Rescue Hybrid PFD

Palm Rescue Hybrid PFD: A fully customizable rescue vest with the MOLLE system

Palm Rescue Hybrid: Modularity for Rescue Teams

The Palm Rescue Hybrid PFD represents a revolution in water rescue. It offers full configurability and detailed customization to meet the needs of a specific operation or your team’s standards. It combines quick donning via a front buckle (Buckle front entry), a robust construction, and high buoyancy (up to 90 N depending on size) for demanding operations in fast-moving water.

MOLLE interface and flexible gear configuration

The Hybrid model's main strength is its adaptability:

• MOLLE-compatible layout: A special modular interface allows you to freely attach or reconfigure up to 2 front and 1 rear pocket, as well as holsters for a radio, first-aid kit, knife, or prusik ropes, to the vest according to your unit’s SOP.
• Flexibility for various types of operations: It caters to flood rescue workers, SRT training, and event safety measures.

UCLan Chest Harness and ISO Certification for Swiftwater

The life jacket's safety features meet the latest practical requirements:

• Patented UCLan safety chest harness (GB2492084): An adjustable chest harness with a 50 mm strap and an O-ring is used for securely attaching a cowtail, belaying, and controlled release in the current.
• Top-quality hardware and durability: 7075 Al aluminum hardware and safety shoulder straps tested to 3.2 kN ensure extreme reliability under tensile loads.
• Official certification: Approved in accordance with EN ISO 12402-5 / 12402-6 (swiftwater rescue) and UKCA.

Durable CORDURA® 500D and eco-friendly Gaia foam

Ergonomics and durability go hand in hand:

• 500D CORDURA® outer fabric: High-strength 100% nylon reliably withstands abrasion when working on the riverbank, in concrete channels, and in whitewater.
• Gaia PVC-free foam: It provides reliable buoyancy and a long service life without harming the environment.
• Stability: The 3D anti-ride-up waist belt, adjustable shoulder straps, and removable leg straps keep the vest securely in place low on the torso without riding up.

What is this vest ideal for?

The vest is designed for professional and advanced use:

• Swiftwater / SRT: Controlled movement in strong currents, swimmer rescue, mooring, and towing.
• Firefighters & Rescue Units: Modular MOLLE gear, SOLAS reflective elements, and high visibility.
• Safety kayakers and rescue teams: Quick gear changes, a clean cowtail parking maneuver, and flawless organization.
