The Palm Rogen is designed as a comfortable, roomier “throw-on” drysuit for cool to cold conditions outside of extreme whitewater. By replacing traditional latex seals with neoprene cuffs, it significantly increases comfort during all-day wear and resistance to abrasion. Although it is not a 100% sealed latex system, it provides excellent protection against wind, rain, and spray, making it an ideal choice for hiking, SUP, packrafting, and calmer water activities.

Construction and Materials: Recycled XP 4-layer

In this model, quality and sustainability go hand in hand with high performance:

• Recycled XP 4-layer fabric: 100% nylon with a PU coating made from recycled materials. It offers high water resistance (25,000 mm water column) and excellent breathability (5,000 g·m⁻²·24 h, A-1 test) while remaining lightweight.
• 320D Amplification: High-wear areas, such as the knees and seat, are reinforced with durable 320D fabric for a longer lifespan.
• Double-stitched seams: Critical seams, especially in the sock area, are double-taped to increase tear resistance.

Outfitting and Functional Details

• YKK AquaSeal front zipper: A high-quality, waterproof zipper on the front makes it easier and faster to put on and take off the garment without assistance from another person.
• "Semi-dry" seal: Soft GlideSkin neoprene at the neck and elastic UltraStretch neoprene at the wrists. They provide a high level of comfort, don't constrict, and are much more resistant to mechanical damage than latex.
• Integrated dry socks: Made from 4-layer XP material with a durable 320D sole that protects your feet while walking in the shoes and keeps them dry.
• Inner neoprene waistband: It helps keep the layers of clothing in place, improves the overall fit when seated, and prevents the fabric from shifting excessively.
• Thigh pocket: A practical pocket with a YKK AquaGuard zipper for safely storing small items (keys, a phone in its case, a snack).

• Remark: This model does not have an overskirt (double tunnel) for connecting to a spraydeck. For challenging whitewater (WW) runs involving frequent Eskimo rolls, we recommend a drysuit with an overskirt design and latex cuffs.

Care and Maintenance of the Suit

Proper care extends the service life of materials and seals:

• Cleaning and Drying: Do not store while wet. After use, rinse with fresh water and let air dry in the shade. Never dry in direct sunlight or in a dryer.
• Washing: Machine washable at a maximum of 30 °C, without fabric softener. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.
• Maintenance: Lubricate the zipper and neoprene seals regularly with suitable products (such as silicone spray or 303 Protectant). Avoid contact with sharp edges and prolonged exposure to UV rays.

Measurements: Measure height from the floor to the top of the head; chest circumference horizontally under the arms across the shoulder blades; waist circumference at the narrowest point; inseam from the ankle to the groin.
