XP50 Material: Lightweight and Reliable Protection

The jacket is made from a tried-and-true 2-layer XP50 fabric. This material was developed to effectively block wind and rain, while also being lightweight and compact.

• All the seams on the jacket are fully lined waterproof tape, which prevents water from seeping through the stitching.
• The fabric's surface has been treated with a water-repellent finish, which allows water droplets to roll off the jacket beautifully.
• The lightweight design allows the jacket to be easily packed down into a very small bundle (e.g., into a boat bag or backpack), so you can always keep it with you as a backup.

Neck and Cuffs: A Comfortable, Latex-Free Solution

The Vector model is designed for maximum user comfort. That's why you won't find any tight latex cuffs on it that would make it difficult to put on or cause an uncomfortable constriction:

• Krk: The neck collar opens wide and is easy to adjust using the Velcro strap. When it's cold, you can tighten it snugly against your body. When it gets warmer or you're working out, you can loosen it for instant ventilation.
• Wrist: They are fitted with conical sleeves made of Glide Skin Neoprene. This material fits snugly against the skin, preventing water droplets from running down the sleeve after a paddle stroke, but unlike latex, it doesn't restrict blood circulation or pull on body hair.

Practical details: Zippered pocket and secure waistband

Despite its minimalist design, the jacket offers everything you need on the water. On the chest, there is a very spacious zippered pocket, where you can safely store an energy bar, sunscreen, or your car keys (in a waterproof pouch).
The bottom edge of the jacket (waist) features a Velcro adjustment strap. This allows you to easily adjust it to your waist size to prevent wind from blowing in and water from splashing in. Safety on the water in low-visibility conditions is ensured by strategically placed reflective elements.

Care and Maintenance of a Water Sports Jacket

To ensure the jacket retains its functional properties, we recommend rinsing it with clean tap water after paddling in saltwater or very dirty water. Never wring it out, do not tumble dry it, and avoid drying it in direct, intense sunlight or on a hot radiator. Dry it hanging loosely on a hanger. If the material begins to absorb water over time (it stops “beading”), you can revitalize the surface using commercially available fabric waterproofing sprays (DWR treatment).
