With this model, the British brand Peak UK has combined minimalist design with maximum functionality and durability.

Material and Construction: 2.5-layer fabric and Cordura

These pants are designed to withstand rough handling both on and off the boat:

• 2.5-layer fabric: The main fabric provides excellent protection against water (waterproof rating of 10,000 mm) while also effectively wicking moisture away, thereby preventing overheating and sweat buildup.
• Corduroy reinforcement: The areas most prone to abrasion—namely, the entire seat area and the knees—are reinforced with extremely durable Cordura fabric.
• Articulated leg cut: The cut of the pants is designed to accommodate the paddler's natural sitting position. The fabric does not bunch up behind the knees and does not restrict leg movement inside the kayak.

Comfort and Sealing: The Aquaout System

Instead of traditional (and often delicate) dry socks, the Semi EVO model uses a system of neoprene cuffs:

• Aquaout Neoprene Sealing Belt: The wide, flexible waistband adapts very easily to your body shape. It provides a great seal, prevents water from entering from above, and creates a reliable connection with your paddling jacket.
• Aquaout neoprene ankle cuffs: The leg openings are finished with elastic neoprene and feature a Velcro closure. This system is much more comfortable to put on than latex, and when tightened properly, it provides excellent protection against water ingress.
