Hull and Hydrodynamics: "Pivot Hull" and Two Gliding Surfaces

At the heart of the ReactR model is an entirely new fuselage design that breaks with tradition:

• Pivot Hull Philosophy: The boat has a perfectly positioned pivot point. It allows the rider to take complete control of changes in direction at any speed—even when the boat is "flat on its side"—without causing the stern to flood unintentionally.
• Two planing surfaces: ReactR features one gliding surface at the front and another at the rear. The rider can smoothly switch between them simply by shifting their weight. The result is extreme stability both when landing on the nose after a drop and when accelerating quickly off the tail.
• Dynamic bow and rocker: The bow's profile cuts smoothly through the water and channels the flow beneath the boat to increase speed. The center of buoyancy is shifted closer to the paddler, allowing for much more horizontal and clean boofs.

Caring for a Polyethylene Shell

The hull is made of highly durable polyethylene (HDPE). Although this material has an extremely long service life, we recommend storing the kayak away from direct UV light, which can cause the plastic to degrade and the color to fade over time. After every trip in sandy terrain, rinse the kayak with water to prevent unnecessary abrasion of the material inside the cockpit and to keep the ratchets and backrest mechanisms from getting jammed. Regularly check that all screws holding the outfitting in place are tight.
