We've been designing and manufacturing innovative whitewater kayaks for more than 50 years, but 2022 brought a project that challenged us to invest the most time and energy in its testing and development to date - the Rip-R Evo 2; while our competitors were trying to match the performance of the original Rip-R Evo, we were setting the bar even higher.
This is because we recognise that success at Olympic level is the result of the perfect combination of a top athlete, the professionalism of their training and the top quality equipment they use. No one at this level of competition can rest on their laurels; not the athletes, not their coaches, not the manufacturers of the boats they race on.
Every detail of the Rip-R Evo 2 has been checked and developed. The design combines past, present and future with a unique coherence that comes from our history of winning World Cups dating back over 46 years and our ever forward-thinking approach to the sport and how our designs influence it.
The Rip-R Evo 2 F also has fins/fins that provide extra grip, especially in the returns, and are a huge advantage on the ramp, minimizing contact points for much less friction and acting as a pivot point to help you lift the toe higher and get a drier, more directional landing after takeoff.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The Rip-R Evo 2 is designed and manufactured from a lightweight shell and accessories, with finely tuned and carefully shaped hull features - not intended for use above WW 3 or for paddling on low water rivers.
We tested the standard handles up to a strength of around 500 kg. While this is far beyond the strength of the plastic handles used by other manufacturers on their all-purpose whitewater kayaks, we strongly recommend upgrading to our forged, anodized aluminum handles for general use on natural rivers where you can rely heavily on the integrity of the attachment points during a rescue.

GUIDE FOR RECEIVING YOUR KAYAK / CANOE
Dear Customer, Your kayak / canoe is on its way! Below you will find a clear and concise guide for a smooth handover. Careful adherence to these steps is crucial for protecting your investment.
Important Notice:
Perform the initial inspection of the packaging and kayak in the presence of the carrier who delivered the kayak. Cooperate with the carrier during the inspection to document any damage immediately.

⚠️ CAUTION: Damage may be subtle (scratches, minor dents, cracks).
STEP 1: INSPECTION BEFORE ACCEPTANCE AND SIGNATURE
Item: Shipment Packaging
In the presence of the carrier, perform a visual inspection for damage to the kayak's packaging. What to check:
- Scratches and Gouges: Look for scratches or gouges on the packaging.
- Holes and Tears: Check if the film or cardboard is torn.
- Deformations: Note any dents on the bow, stern, or sides.
- Visible Kayak Damage: Check if any damage to the kayak is visible through the packaging.
Important: Even with the slightest damage to the packaging, it is necessary to note in the acceptance protocol “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION”!!!
This step is absolutely critical for any potential claim. Also, photograph the damage in the presence of the carrier.
You have the full right to a thorough inspection, even if the carrier is in a hurry.
STEP 2: DECISION BASED ON THE CONDITION OF THE SHIPMENT
Scenario A: No Apparent Damage
Sign for standard acceptance. Be careful when handling the package.
After the carrier leaves:
- Carefully unpack the kayak in a safe location.
- Thoroughly inspect the entire kayak: surface scratches, cracks or fractures, hull deformations, condition of all components.
If you find hidden damage:
- Take photographs (kayak from all angles, detailed shots of the damage).
- Keep all packaging for the claim.
- Contact us within 2–3 days of delivery.
Scenario B: Shows Damage
- Inform the carrier about the damage.
- Prepare a “Damage Report” with a precise description.
- Write in the protocol: “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION” (e.g., “scratches on the packaging”).
- Take photographs (details of the damage, the entire shipment, the label).
- Contact us as soon as possible.
- Alternative: For extensive damage, you may refuse the shipment.
After the carrier leaves:
- Unpack the kayak and check for additional hidden defects.
- Photograph any additional findings.

Receipt and Claims
- Upon receiving the shipment, check the packaging. Report any obvious damage to the packaging immediately and note it in the transport protocol.
- A note can be added even with damaged packaging – any content defects can be claimed later. Please document the damage.
- Check the shipment contents after the driver leaves. Report hidden defects within 4 business days of receipt. Report obvious defects immediately and document them.
