Durable PVC, seam technology, and valves

The basis for the Titan rafts’ exceptional durability is 0.9 mm thick PVC. The bottom of the raft is also reinforced from the underside with a special 1.2 mm thick abrasion-resistant film to prevent wear. A key feature is the triple-overlapped seams, which guarantee extreme strength. The self-draining bottom ensures that water does not accumulate in the raft but drains away immediately, which is crucial for maneuverability. A major advantage is the presence of reliable pressure relief valves, not only in the bottom but also in the side tubes themselves. These automatically release excess air, preventing the boat from bursting when heated by the sun.

Comfort, anti-slip coating, and rider safety

The raft is equipped with crosswise rollers to reinforce its structure. These rollers are not intended for sitting—paddlers sit on the side rollers and keep their feet firmly secured in the foot straps on the bottom of the boat, which provides the most stable and secure seating position. To further enhance safety, the tops of the side rollers are coated with a special anti-slip layer. This prevents paddlers from slipping during vigorous strokes. A safety rope runs around the entire circumference of the raft for easy grip. Weighing 59.5 kg (the raft itself), handling it on shore requires teamwork, which is facilitated by sturdy, ergonomic handles.
