Beaver classic - inflatable kayak with the soul of a "racer"

The ROBfin Beaver classic kayak is not just another inflatable boat. It is the result of many years of development by Robert Kazik, one of the most experienced wild water designers. The Beaver was designed to be as close to rigid plastic kayaks as possible in its handling characteristics, but retain all the advantages of inflatable boats - i.e. storage, safety and stability. The Classic model is designed for riders looking for an uncompromising machine for the toughest terrain.

The main difference compared to conventional inflatable kayaks is its ability to "cut" turns and keep the direction even in strong current. The Beaver does not twist, does not buckle under the rider and responds to the slightest body roll.

Beaver classic is a boat without limits. Its range is:

• Extreme wild water: Thanks to its high stability and fast self-levelling, it is ideal for creeking.
• Expedition paddling: The light weight and huge carrying capacity allow you to pack your gear for several days and head out into deserted canyons.

Unique bottom design and hydrodynamics

The secret of the Beaver's performance lies in its bottom. Unlike the flat bottoms of conventional boats, the Beaver has a profiled bottom that creates an imaginary "keel". This gives the boat unprecedented directional stability and speed. The bow is significantly raised (rocker), which allows the boat to literally jump over rollers and hit waves from above, not ride them.

The Beaver's self-levelling function is perfected. The large discharge holes on the sides of the bottom ensure that the boat is empty within 2-3 seconds after being swamped by a wave. This is key to maintaining maneuverability in technical passages.

Extremely durable materials and connection technology

ROBfin uses a highly durable, high-strength polyester-based coating material for the Classic model. The material is extremely abrasion and tear resistant. All seams are made with a technology that provides higher strength than the base material itself. In addition, the bottom is reinforced in the most exposed areas to withstand frequent contact with rocks in shallow riverbeds in Czech and Alpine rivers.

Interior fittings and thigh straps

In order to fully control the boat, the rider must be firmly connected to it. The Beaver Classic is equipped with adjustable thigh straps that allow the boat to be actively tilted and "skimmed". The non-absorbent foam seat provides firm support and a correct centre of gravity position. The footrest is adjustable, providing comfort for paddlers of different heights.
