ROBfin Mini 290 - Professional standard in a compact package

ROBfin Mini 290 Profi is the flagship in the category of small symmetrical rafts. It was developed with an emphasis on maximum hull stiffness and the ability to traverse even the most technical lines of mountain streams. Unlike lighter recreational boats, the 32 kg weight offers the necessary inertia and robustness to punch through large waves and rollers. It's a boat for matched pairs (possibly with one smaller passenger) who demand absolute reliability in WW 4 and WW 5 terrain.

Superior stability and hull geometry

With a width of 140 cm and a length of 290 cm, the Mini 290 raft offers an ideal balance of stability and spin. The symmetrical shape ensures that the boat behaves predictably when entering wakes, even if the current turns your back to the direction of travel. The 40 cm diameter rollers provide high displacement and ensure the boat floats high on the water, minimising the risk of getting stuck on rocks in shallow channels.

Self-leveling bottom and hydrodynamics Kazik Design

The key element of ROBfin rafts is the unique design of the self-floating bottom. The drain hole system is designed so that when the boat is flooded by a wave, the interior is emptied within seconds. In addition, the bottom profile reduces hydrodynamic drag, giving the boat speed under acceleration and allowing for precise guidance in the current. The internal length of 210 cm provides plenty of room to keep your feet planted even with an aggressive paddling style.

Valmex robustness and weight 32 kg

Weight32 kg reflects the use of uncompromising materials. The raft is made of multi-layered PVC material Valmex (1000 g/m2), which is extremely resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage from rocks. All joints are made with a technology that guarantees a strength higher than that of the material itself. This construction ensures that the raft holds its shape even under high working pressure, which is essential for precise handling in challenging rapids.

Profi version equipment and safety

The Profi version is equipped with two transverse cylinders (thwarts), which serve as seats and at the same time increase the torsional rigidity of the whole boat. There are also adjustable paddler's foot grips, which are crucial for a safe and secure fit in the boat. Solid handles on the bow and stern, combined with a safety rope around the perimeter, make the boat easy to handle on land and in emergency situations on the water.
