Care and Maintenance of a Dry Jacket

To maximize the jacket’s lifespan and maintain its waterproofing, we recommend thoroughly rinsing it with clean water after each use, especially after swimming in saltwater or dirty water. Wash according to the instructions on the label, ideally by hand or on a gentle cycle in the washing machine, using detergents designed for technical membrane clothing. Do not use fabric softener or bleach! Latex seals require special care—rinse them after use and let them dry. Check the condition of the latex cuffs regularly; if necessary, you can trim them to restore their grip. Once dry, you can restore the water-repellent finish (DWR) with a waterproofing treatment. Store in a dry, well-ventilated place, ideally hung up.
