Soul TriXter - Key Features

Soul TriXter is a full slice freestyle playboat - short, aggressive and surprisingly tolerant. The concept is based on the idea of "all trix, all day": the kayak is designed to handle classic stick tricks (blunty, cartwheely, squirty) but still have enough pop and central volume for modern air elements like loop, lunar orbit, pan am or air screw. Both the tip and stern slicks have less volume, making it very easy to "bite" into the water and keep the boat upright, while the more robust center of the boat provides lift and confidence on impacts. With a length of just 210cm, the TriXter can fit into small, technical features and is easily transported in a regular car.

TriXter belongs to the latest generation of Soul playboats and shares their philosophy of maximum playability. One of the loosest hulls Soul has ever made, it allows for incredibly easy spins and changes of direction, while the tucked rails help the boat "lock" when carving a wave. Compared to traditional freestyle kayaks, the TriXter has distinctly slick ends, which improves control in vertical positions and makes it a boat that stands exactly on the cusp between modern freestyle and old school full slice playboats - only in a modern, fast and lightweight package.

Hull, stability and handling

HullSoul TriXter is based on a very loose planing hull that rotates almost without resistance on the surface. The wide bearing surface under the rider adds enough stability to practice new tricks, while the significantly lightened ends ensure a sensitive response to every body movement. Thanks to the combination of central volume and slick ends, the TriXter willingly lifts into vertical features without being too jittery or unpredictable.

The rocker on the tip and stern is set to make the boat fast when entering the roll, but also easy to jump to the edge and not get stuck. Slicy ends help keep the boat steady in pirouettes and cartwheels, while tucked rails soften the edge in a mistake and increase the tolerance in an overload. The short 210cm length makes transitions between features easier and makes the kayak very lively on smaller rivers - but it's still primarily a playboat, not a classic river runner.

Comfort and safety

TriXter uses provenMega Comfy outfitting from Soul Waterman, or the simpler Rage version. The aim is to offer the rider maximum contact with the boat and comfort during long play sessions in the playspot and in the hall.

• Mega Comfy seat cushion - soft, well-shaped seat with intuitive, tool-free adjustment that allows you to quickly fine-tune the seat to suit your riding style and rider's body.
• Adjustable backband - reliable backrest with easy tightening, which holds the rider's pelvis in the ideal position for a strong shot and vertical tricks.
• Shaped thigh rests - aggressive thigh braces give a sensitive transfer of movement to the hull, which is crucial for accurate edging during spinning and cartwheels.
• Safety handles and fixed partitions - robust internal construction increases rider protection and provides reliable points for transport and rescue.

Depending on the configuration, TriXter may be available inSuperlight (approx. 14 kg) orSupertough / Superlinear (approx. 15-16 kg), allowing a choice between lower weight and maximum durability for intensive use on wild water.
