The two-piece Carbon version (716C.2) is designed for paddlers who demand uncompromising power transfer without unnecessary loss, but who also frequently need to transport the paddle or use it as a backup. Thanks to the addition of long carbon fibers directly into the blade’s structure, the paddle is significantly stiffer and lighter than standard plastic models. • Two-piece coupling: In the middle of the glass shaft is a standard connector that allows the paddle to be quickly separated into two shorter pieces to maximize space savings in the trunk of a car or on board a kayak.
• Sheets made of PAC material: The blades are made of an innovative polyamide with a high proportion of long carbon fibers. This material combines the extreme stiffness of carbon with the toughness and impact resistance of plastic.
• Built-in drainer: A great feature of this model is the special protrusion (beak) at the inner end of the blade. It completely replaces the classic rubber rings—water naturally drips back onto the surface and doesn’t run down the shaft onto your hands.
• Fiberglass pole with a protective sleeve: The high-quality fiberglass tube (Ø 30 mm) offers pleasant flexibility, which effectively absorbs shocks and reduces strain on the shoulder and elbow joints. In addition, the surface is covered with a plastic sleeve, so it doesn’t slip and doesn’t feel cold to the touch.
