Werner Sho-Gun is the result of decades of experience and innovation in whitewater paddling. This paddle combines Werner's most advanced technologies to provide kayakers with a tool capable of handling the most demanding conditions. Large foam-core blades provide excellent buoyancy, making Eskimo turns easier and increasing stability during the stroke. Carbon construction brings lightness and strength, while Kevlar® and Dynel® reinforcements protect the paddle from impact and wear.

Sheet design and shot characteristics

Paddle leavesWerner Sho-Gun have an asymmetrical shape with a dihedral profile that allows for a smooth and stable shot. The large blade area (711 cm²) provides a strong pull, making it ideal for fast manoeuvres in technical rapids. The foam core increases the buoyancy of the blade, making it easier to pull out of the water and improving overall paddling efficiency. The low-profile backside of the blade with wildwater-specific reinforcements ensures a quiet stroke and easy exit while maintaining strength.

Werner Sho-Gun is available in a version with a straight mast and splitting into two parts:

• Smart-View Adjustable Ferrule - system allowing easy and firm connection of two parts with the possibility of angle adjustment
• Different lengths - from 191 to 200 cm, adjustable to the height of the rider and the type of boat
• Two mast diameters - standard and small diameter shaft (SDS) for smaller hands
