Kayak RTM Panama is an excellent kayak for river and competition use, developed in cooperation with the French slalom team. Its main features are speed, reactivity and smoothness of movement, making it ideal for both fun and for achieving victories in the popular kayak cross discipline. This model won the Whitewater Product of the Year award at The Paddle Sports Show 2023, a clear testament to its excellence.
The Kayak Paname is designed to deliver outstanding performance, with technical features including optimal volume distribution in the front for easier obstacle and ramp negotiation, low stern volume for fast and stable maneuvering, and a low deck to facilitate kayaker movements and passage through kayak cross gates. The Paname is available in two sizes, with the Paname version optimized for paddlers weighing 70-85 kg, while the Paname S is designed for paddlers weighing 55-70 kg. The kayak is made of superlinear high-density polyethylene, the seat and footrests are made of 100% recycled polyethylene manufactured by ROTOMOD.
The kayak is designed to be accessible to a wide range of users, from elite athletes to amateur paddlers looking for a powerful experience. It has a length of 2.74 metres, a width of 0.60 metres and a weight of 18 kg. The total volume of the kayak is 207 litres, which allows for a comfortable and efficient WW ride. The kayak is equipped with adjustable footrests, adjustable seat, adjustable thigh rests, PE seat, front and rear foam struts and handles.
The RTM Paname kayak is offered in multiple colors, including red, blue and white. Recommended user weight ranges from 70 to 85 kg.

Dear Customer, Your kayak / canoe is on its way! Below you will find a clear and concise guide for a smooth handover. Careful adherence to these steps is crucial for protecting your investment.
Important Notice:
Perform the initial inspection of the packaging and kayak in the presence of the carrier who delivered the kayak. Cooperate with the carrier during the inspection to document any damage immediately.

⚠️ CAUTION: Damage may be subtle (scratches, minor dents, cracks).
STEP 1: INSPECTION BEFORE ACCEPTANCE AND SIGNATURE
Item: Shipment Packaging
In the presence of the carrier, perform a visual inspection for damage to the kayak's packaging. What to check:
- Scratches and Gouges: Look for scratches or gouges on the packaging.
- Holes and Tears: Check if the film or cardboard is torn.
- Deformations: Note any dents on the bow, stern, or sides.
- Visible Kayak Damage: Check if any damage to the kayak is visible through the packaging.
Important: Even with the slightest damage to the packaging, it is necessary to note in the acceptance protocol “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION”!!!
This step is absolutely critical for any potential claim. Also, photograph the damage in the presence of the carrier.
You have the full right to a thorough inspection, even if the carrier is in a hurry.
STEP 2: DECISION BASED ON THE CONDITION OF THE SHIPMENT
Scenario A: No Apparent Damage
Sign for standard acceptance. Be careful when handling the package.
After the carrier leaves:
- Carefully unpack the kayak in a safe location.
- Thoroughly inspect the entire kayak: surface scratches, cracks or fractures, hull deformations, condition of all components.
If you find hidden damage:
- Take photographs (kayak from all angles, detailed shots of the damage).
- Keep all packaging for the claim.
- Contact us within 2–3 days of delivery.
Scenario B: Shows Damage
- Inform the carrier about the damage.
- Prepare a “Damage Report” with a precise description.
- Write in the protocol: “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION” (e.g., “scratches on the packaging”).
- Take photographs (details of the damage, the entire shipment, the label).
- Contact us as soon as possible.
- Alternative: For extensive damage, you may refuse the shipment.
After the carrier leaves:
- Unpack the kayak and check for additional hidden defects.
- Photograph any additional findings.

Receipt and Claims
- Upon receiving the shipment, check the packaging. Report any obvious damage to the packaging immediately and note it in the transport protocol.
- A note can be added even with damaged packaging – any content defects can be claimed later. Please document the damage.
