Olymp XRS 75 - the resurrection of a legend, built for speed. The new Olympus XRS follows the legendary Lettmann racing kayaks, some of which participated in the Olympic Games with Jochen Lettmann and many other kayakers.
It was impossible for Lettmann, especially Jochen Lettmann, not to take the opportunity to design a kayak for a new Olympic discipline - kayakcross. And not just any kayak, but the fastest and most agile speed machine - which is undoubtedly heading for gold again. Jochen has worked with elite kayakers, both national and international, in the pursuit of a top kayak, which has led to the development of the Olymp XRS kayak.
As you'd expect from a Lettmann kayak, the Olymp XRS succeeds on all levels because it is a great kayak on and off the racecourse. It's a kayak for those who love the playful ride of WW. The bulky bow and pronounced rocker ensure safe and dry runs. Whether you love stern squirting and dip turning, casual river cruising or making a natural slalom channel out of rocks and waves, you'll never look better than in the Olymp XRS.
If you want to be at the forefront of the next extreme slalom, Olympus is the right choice for you. Lettmann's current model for the 2024 Olympics is also suitable for those who want to ride their favourite river slalom-style or want to improve their technique.
Variants:
Creek:safety features include three grab handles, a central strut with equipment handles, support foam front and rear, a lumbar support and a 3D bumper.
Race:the Race version is designed for racing or for paddlers who want a lightweight kayak and are willing to sacrifice a little strength in exchange. The roughly 2 kg lighter hull of the kayak is somewhat thinner and softer. Available by order only.

Important Notice:
Perform the initial inspection of the packaging and kayak in the presence of the carrier who delivered the kayak. Cooperate with the carrier during the inspection to document any damage immediately.

STEP 1: INSPECTION BEFORE ACCEPTANCE AND SIGNATURE
Item: Package
In the presence of the carrier, perform a visual inspection of the kayak’s packaging for damage. What to check:
- Scratches and Gouges: Look for scratches or gouges on the packaging.
- Holes and Tears: Check if the film or cardboard is torn.
- Deformations: Notice any dents on the bow, stern, or sides.
- Visible Kayak Damage: Check if damage to the kayak is visible through the packaging.
Important: Even with the slightest damage to the packaging, you must note “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION” in the handover protocol!!!
This step is absolutely critical for any potential claims. Also, photograph the damage in the presence of the carrier.
You have the full right to a thorough inspection, even if the carrier is in a hurry.
STEP 2: DECISION BASED ON PACKAGE CONDITION
Scenario A: No Visible Damage
Sign for standard acceptance. Be cautious when handling the package.
After the carrier leaves:
- Carefully unpack the kayak in a safe location.
- Thoroughly inspect the entire kayak: surface scratches, cracks or fractures, hull deformations, condition of all components.
If you find hidden damage:
- Create photo documentation (kayak from all angles, detailed damage).
- Keep all packaging for claims.
- Contact us within 2–3 days of delivery.
Scenario B: Shows Damage
- Inform the carrier about the damage.
- Prepare a “Damage Report” with a precise description.
- Write in the protocol: “ACCEPTED WITH RESERVATION” (e.g., “scratches on packaging”).
- Take photos (damage details, entire package, label).
- Contact us as soon as possible.
- Alternative: For extensive damage, you may refuse the package.
After the carrier leaves:
