The Palm Tora jacket is the ideal outer layer for days when you’re not sure what the weather will bring. Material and Durability: Recycled XP 2.5-layer fabric
The jacket is made from an innovative XP 2.5-layer fabric, which is made from 100% recycled nylon with a PU coating.
- Water column and breathability: The fabric has a water column rating of 10,000 mm and a breathability rating of 10,000 g/m²/24 h (measured using the A-1 method).
- Comfortable to wear: The fabric has a soft, "soft-touch" feel, which makes the jacket very comfortable to the touch.
- Water resistance: All seams on the jacket are fully taped to ensure maximum waterproofing.
Practical details: Packs into the hood and features a YKK pocket
One of the Tora model’s greatest features is its hood. The fully adjustable “roll-away” hood can be easily rolled up, and—most importantly—the entire jacket can be packed inside it to achieve the absolute minimum bulk during transport. Independent tests have praised the hood’s effectiveness; it features a peak and comfortably accommodates a beanie or helmet. A single chest pocket with a high-quality YKK AquaGuard zipper is provided for safely storing small items away from rain and splashing water. (Note: The absence of side pockets is a design choice for this model to achieve a lighter weight and better packability.)
Easy to Put On and Cuffs
The jacket features the popular half-zip with a chin guard, which, according to tests, makes it very easy to put on over other layers of clothing. The inside of the collar and cuffs uses "soft-touch" technology for maximum comfort without chafing the skin. The wrist cuffs are equipped with Velcro closures for quick adjustment and a secure seal. The jacket’s cut ensures freedom of movement not only for paddling itself, but also for hike-ins (traveling to the water) or time spent on shore.

Care of the jacket
To keep your jacket in good condition, never store it while it’s wet. After use, always rinse it with fresh water and let it air dry. If you need to wash it, machine wash it at 30 °C without fabric softener. Do not bleach, tumble dry, iron, or dry clean the jacket.
