Bravo C1 Basic - the paddle that holds you up
The C1 Basic model is the most widely used type of paddle for recreational canoeing. Its main advantage is simplicity and functionality. The one-piece construction eliminates any play that might occur with folding models, and the duralumin core ensures that the paddle does not flex under the pull of the water.
The ideal choice for hiking descents and beginners
The Bravo C1 Basic is at home on calm and gently flowing waters:
- Family trips: Thanks to its low price and high durability, you don't have to worry about entrusting the paddle to children.
- Children's camps and courses: The paddle can withstand rough handling when learning the technique and contact with rocks in the river bed.
- Boat rental: Minimal service requirements and maximum durability make it the most economical choice for commercial operation.
Indestructible sheet with duralumin reinforcement
Unlike cheap supermarket paddles, the Bravo C1 Basic has a blade made oftough plastic, which is also reinforced inside with a duralumin profile. This combination ensures that the blade remains stiff even in stronger currents and does not twist during the bite. The duralumin core has a non-slip finish for a comfortable grip.

Expert advice: For recreational canoe paddling, we recommend choosing a paddle length that reaches approximately to your chin. Thanks to the duralumin reinforcement in the blade, the Bravo C1 Basic is also great for lighter bouncing off the bottom, which is invaluable in Czech rivers with lower water levels.
