Werner Covert 1 Piece Bent Shaft - Key Features
The Covert model brings a new standard in paddles for racing and technical river paddling. Its design is focused on high cadence strokes, fast response and maximum efficiency. Offset blade shape and rounded edges provide better water contact and smooth transition between phases of the stroke.
Sheet design and shot characteristics
The blade is forward placement for a strong start to the shot. Flat power face increases stability and accuracy. The small blade size (650 cm²) allows for higher shot frequency and better acceleration, ideal for quick reactions in technical passages.
Construction and materials
- Carbon fibre sheets - extremely rigid and lightweight, ideal for high performance.
- 1-piece carbon composite mast (Bent Shaft) - ergonomically curved for a natural wrist position, reducing fatigue and increasing accuracy.
The design is adapted to the extreme loads of wild water descents - strong, but at the same time saves the rider's energy.
